BERNADOTTE - based on a design from 1938, as a vacuum jug it has modern day practicality
Originally designed as a jug, the BERNADOTTE vacuum jug retains the original form for a unique combination of old meets new.
Prince Sigvard Bernadotte, son of the Swedish King Gustav VI Adolf designed a number of silver goods throughout his life. He brought a Scandinavian sensibility to each of his designs.
The original BERNADOTTE jug dates from 1938. At that time, functionalism was an important movement in the design world. He kept this aesthetic throughout his life, always coming up with new ways to combine the beautiful with the useful. The vacuum jug was his final design.
